A community forum for Western North Carolina.

October 11th, 10 am – 4 pm

We invite you to join a community gathering of progressive leaders, activists, artists, farmers and permaculture designers, spiritual practitioners, and entrepreneurs who are working everyday to build a better community–and an economy that works for everyone. By joining together in conversation we plan to identify common goals, opportunities for collaboration, and collective actions that can begin to shift economic power back to the hands of local people. Including those most in need.

Vision & Values

Imagine a world where everyone has access to the basic necessities of life; where workers have a say in determining their wages and are empowered to lead democratic businesses; where food, energy, and wealth can be generated locally and circulated in the local economy first and foremost.

A world where all women, and all our LGBTQ+ neighbors, and all our community members of African American, Latinx, Asian American, Native American heritage, and more, can have the same equal footing and opportunities to thrive.

A world where the Rights of Nature are upheld and where the economy works as an engine for all around universal progress, as an expression of healthy ecosystems.
